こんにちは (Kon'nichiwa) (hello) guys !!

How's it going with you all? I hope you are doing well and having a blast in your life.

My name is Omkar Vijay Bagade. In here I share my knowledge with all the newcomers in the vast world of photography.

Now this was my short introduction. You can too introduce yourselves in the comment section in the bottom of the blog or in the DM in Instagram.

Let's get started with are goal for today which is FRAMING !!

Framing

Framing in photography refers to the technique of drawing focus to the subject in the photo by blocking other parts of the image with something in the scene.

This was the definition of Framing but I don't like to learn things, let's dive deep in the topic and understand the roots of Framing with few examples

Let's discuss about this photo. What do you think    about  this photo? I think that this is a masterpiece.

Now, just think or assume that the frame in this photo is not present, now the picture is not good at all because there would be no particular subject to capture in the photo itself.

I just want you to be specific about framing because it can make photos so good but sometimes it totally ruins the scenario.

Let's have a look at another framing photo

As you can clearly see the subject
(the man) is the focus of the photo surrounded by the leaves.

Framing the photo is fun but it should be done correctly like the aperture you should choose or the focus of the lens according to the scene itself.

I have detailed blog post of aperture, focus, lenses etc. for you if you don't understand any terms used above because every photographer must have a basic knowledge of camera.

We have seen examples but if you're not clear and do want to know more about this amazing topic then here I have a little section for you buddy about the rules for a good framing in photography which I created using my experiments so far.

  • select a subject to be focused
  • create a valid frame for the subject
  • try different angles
  • click different photos and choose the right photo accordingly

and wallah, you got the desired photo you were trying to shot.

Although these rules are required but as you know guys photography is a field of exploring and experimenting a lot with your subject, angles, directions and even with frames.

So if you have your ways of taking a blast shots using framing then you should rely on them. You can always look ideas on the internet about amazing framing compositions.

Let's wrap this blog with few photos using framing taken from amazing photographers on the internet.

Lets talk about why you should use framing in conditions like a single subject with a suitable frame?

  • it gives a perspective of deep shallow siting of the subject.
  • provides depth to the photograph.
  • makes the subject pop out(focused more than simple photograph)
these are some reasons, why you should try this type of composition.
you can do whatever you want from the frames you make for the subject whether it's a railing opening or a small hole but the thing here is just the subject should be clear and focused through the frame, That's all framing in photography is done.

That's all for this blog post about framing. I hope you got the clear idea about framing composition in photography using outstanding examples.

At last to summarize things up about framing is to use the subject in the center of the frame you chose and you are good to go to take an amazing shot.

Thank You for giving me your precious time.

I wish you liked this blog and came to know about the framing composition as well.
